We agreed that supplying some simple food serves two purposes besides feeding everyone:

1. The bits of the traditional formal conferences we are trying to emulate are the engaged and passionate chats that happen around the scones at morning tea.
2. Sharing food at the same time is a social experience. Asking people to supply/buy their own food would disrupt the communal flow of the event.

The State Library can probably supply tea and coffee. We may ask for a small predetermined contribution from participants for afternoon tea.
